Mainline Excavator Operators Job Description

Golderado Contracting Corp is seeking a highly skilled Mainline Excavator Operator to join our team. As a Mainline Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs. You will also be required to execute high-volume production, fine grading, and finishing. Additionally, you will assist other operators, laborers, and trades as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, and perform pre-operational checks
  • Conduct minor repairs to equipment and perform daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Execute high-volume production, fine grading, and finishing
  • Assist other operators, laborers, and trades as needed
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mainline Excavator Operator or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of underground experience required
  • CSTS, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification required
  • Ability to work positively within a team to achieve a common goal
  • Reliable means of transportation required
  • Proficient English language skills required
