We are currently seeking a Risk Analyst for our subsidiary. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual to oversee, evaluate, and report on our operational performance, ensuring that leadership is well-informed to make strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will investigate the underlying causes of business challenges and proactively suggest and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly monitor business performance and prepare performance reports for leadership
- Analyze the root causes of operational issues and propose corrective measures
- Develop and deliver business presentations for senior management
- Present product and portfolio performance during monthly senior management meetings
- Track key risk indicators and establish risk reporting systems for timely and accurate risk evaluation
- Offer strategic insights based on risk assessment results to support business growth and profitability goals
- Conduct periodic reviews of existing risk management processes and recommend enhancements for ongoing improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory standards, and best practices in risk management to ensure compliance and proactive risk management
Qualifications:
- Experience in financial management, including planning, forecasting, and business analysis
- Background in the financial sector is advantageous
- Demonstrated proficiency in complex problem-solving and the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Proficient in analytical and presentation tools such as Excel pivot tables, VBA, SQL queries, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Crystal Reports, and Business Objects, with practical experience in data analysis and performance metrics
- Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related analytical field is preferred
- Availability for full-time, permanent employment
- Willingness to work in a collaborative office environment
