Plastic Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Plastic Manufacturing Technician to join our team at KP Building Products. This position offers a permanent employment opportunity with a focus on quality and precision in plastic assembly.

- Work Hours: 84 hours bi-weekly
No formal education such as a degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
Work EnvironmentThe worksite may be noisy, requiring adaptability to sound levels.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, splice, and fit plastic materials into parts and assemblies.
- Generate reports on inspected products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct inspections of manufactured plastic items for defects and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and mark defective products for repair or recycling.
Experience with the following tools and machinery is essential:
- Trimmers
- Testing equipment
- Hand tools
A criminal record check is a prerequisite for this position.
Transportation and TravelCandidates must have their own transportation, with options for public transport available.
Physical RequirementsThe role involves:
- Repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding activities
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Hand-eye coordination
- A combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Extended periods of standing
Ability to handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs) is required.
Personal EquipmentSteel-toed safety boots are necessary for this position.
Experience LevelPrevious experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
