Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to enhance our team in Toronto. Our projects span a diverse array of complex sectors, including Rail, Data Centers, Higher Education, and Laboratories. We need a leader capable of engaging directly with clients to promote sustainable design practices and foster ongoing business relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior team member, overseeing intricate projects in the capacity of project manager or director.
  • Facilitate the professional growth of team members through mentoring and coaching initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and foster a culture of continuous learning by sharing expertise with current and future team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables to proactively identify and mitigate potential challenges.
  • Collaborate on RFQ and RFP submissions to secure future project opportunities.
  • Lead projects as a project manager and act as the engineer of record for documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in designing electrical systems across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, educational, healthcare, laboratories, and transit.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary projects as a project manager.
  • Experience in developing proposals and participating in client meetings to secure projects.
