About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sawmill Labourer to join our team at ENVIRO PALLET RECOVERY BUY & SELL (2004) LTD. as a Wood Products Handler. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling and processing wood products in our sawmill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed and Load Equipment: Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines with wood products, and load chips, sulphur, and processing materials as required.
  • Wood Product Handling: Sort, pile, and transport wood products to ensure efficient processing and minimize waste.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Training and Support: Willingness to train and learn new skills, with support provided for newcomers and refugees, as well as diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Other Benefits: Enjoy other benefits, including support for Indigenous people, youths, and newcomers, with cultural competency training and awareness training to promote a welcoming work environment.
Work Environment

As a Sawmill Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced sawmill environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Language and Work Schedule

The primary language of work is English, and you will be required to work 40 hours per week.
