Job Summary

The Systems Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer will work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to develop data pipelines and data models supporting various business intelligence and analytics tools. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data pipelines and data models to support business intelligence and analytics tools
  • Work with application owners and stakeholders to improve data availability and presentation
  • Collect, blend, and transform data using ETL tools, database management system tools, and programming languages
  • Participate in the development of data models to structure data for BI consumption
  • Perform aggregation on data across various warehousing models
  • Adhere to I/S control policies throughout design, development, and testing
  • Perform unit and integration testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent, combined with a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Minimum three years' experience in data analysis and preparation, including experience with very large data sets of unstructured data
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or SQL Data Warehouse
  • Understanding of SQL scripting, Python, and R
  • Experience in database development and data modeling
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power Bi, QlikView, QlikSense, SSRS, SSIS, and Excel
  • Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines would be an asset
