Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and package take-out food for customers
  • Portion and wrap food items to meet customer specifications
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet quality standards
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables in a fast-paced environment
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Take customer orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
