Marketing Automation Consultant

Co-operators is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Automation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Marketing team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in email marketing and marketing automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including email development, personalization, segmentation, and deliverability monitoring.
  • Design and build automated lifecycle programs in Journey Builder, including multi-touchpoint and multi-activity journeys.
  • Build triggered email campaigns and programs based on lead form submission events and user interactions.
  • Manage and deliver on email marketing/marketing automation initiatives for assigned LOBs, partnering with Marketing Automation team members to deliver comprehensive recommendations.
  • Set up CloudPages-hosted lead forms and landing pages using pre-built templates.
  • Work with data and technology teams to integrate new fields in SFMC from batch feeds, list uploads, and Sales Cloud via Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in strategic planning, creative/content reviews, and retrospectives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Curate and maintain an SQL and AMPscript code snippet reference library.
  • Create and maintain documentation of workflow processes and marketing automations.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience working within SFMC in a similar role.
  • A college diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science/Programming, or Engineering.
  • Experience building automated and triggered communications in Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Experience writing and modifying SQL queries in SFMC.
  • Experience writing and modifying AMPscript for personalization and update activities.
  • Experience executing Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud Advertising, and Marketing Cloud Personalization activities in SFMC.
  • Working knowledge of HTML.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislations and regulations, email marketing best practices, deliverability, and email authentication.
  • SFMC certification(s) is an advantage.
