Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice President to lead the strategic planning and operational management of major clinical programs and services across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement service delivery models and processes that ensure health-system integration and client care focused on supporting healthy lives in healthy communities.
- Collaborate with senior operational and medical leadership to identify and develop initiatives that support new or expanded programs and services.
- Ensure the integration of quality and safety programs and frameworks across acute and community modalities of care.
- Represent the organization's clinicians and patients in relation to capital projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided.
- Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or related health discipline.
- More than fifteen years' recent, related clinical practice and senior leadership experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating service delivery systems.
- Experience leading major service integration and change within a large, academic healthcare setting.
- Strong business acumen and ability to manage fiscal resources in a financially responsible manner.
