At Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), we are seeking a skilled Weaver to join our team in the weaving department. As a Weaver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operation of the looms by repairing tape breaks and conducting quality checks of fabric.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair tape breaks and replace empty tape packages on the looms to ensure smooth operation.
  • Conduct quality checks of fabric to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Perform miscellaneous line duties such as cutting whip rolls, dusting the looms, and sweeping the floors.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Entry-level position with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
