Richter is seeking a highly skilled Canadian Tax Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Canadian Core Tax group, you will play a crucial role in preparing, reviewing, and implementing complex tax strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, identifying planning opportunities and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies, working closely with managers and partners to achieve client goals.
  • Conduct research and analysis on tax issues, interpreting and applying tax legislation to ensure accurate and compliant tax returns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address tax risks, ensuring the highest level of client service.

Requirements

  • CPA designation or in progress, with a strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a tax role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax services.
  • Excellent technical skills, with proficiency in tax software and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
