We are seeking a dedicated Upholsterer to join our team at Marcantonio Designs Limited. This role involves a variety of tasks focused on the restoration and enhancement of furniture.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and Maintenance: Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other components of furniture.
- Upholstery Work: Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery materials to create high-quality finishes.
- Detailing: Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trims, braids, or buttons to enhance the aesthetic appeal of furniture.
- Furniture Restoration: Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to restore their original beauty.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Type: Permanent position.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
