About the Role

We are seeking an experienced truck mechanic's apprentice to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck systems
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete complex repairs
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a truck mechanic's apprentice or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
