Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Gurinderjit Singh Dhindsa & Rajwinder Kaur Dhindsa. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and social development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing transportation and support.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and reassurance when needed.
  • Help children with homework, promoting their academic development and success.
Requirements:
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential in this role, as you will be working in a family setting.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the household.
Work Environment:

The work environment is non-smoking, and optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English, and proficiency in this language is required.Work Hours:

The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the family.
