Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

Canguard Building Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are integrated with other facility management activities.
Work Environment

The Cleaning Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires strong judgment and client focus, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a facilities management or cleaning services environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cleaning staff, other departments, and clients.
  • Ability to establish and maintain work schedules, and to coordinate the activities of cleaning staff.
  • Strong judgment and client focus, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • English language proficiency.
