Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician - Level 4
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician at Level 4 is responsible for the proficient maintenance and repair of facility systems, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. This position necessitates the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics, along with a comprehensive understanding of maintenance methodologies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine machine maintenance as specified in the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Carry out Predictive Maintenance tasks.
- Guide troubleshooting and repair efforts, supervising junior mechanics.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and foster positive employee relations.
- Ensure adherence to TS 16949 Procedures/Systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and perform light maintenance in quality assurance areas.
- Utilize specialized measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Assess equipment condition and performance of critical systems.
- Evaluate the feasibility of equipment modifications and work alongside colleagues and supervisors.
- Develop and implement straightforward projects.
- Evaluate and select external contractors as necessary.
- Perform supervisory duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Licensed as an IMM (Millwright) or possess equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two years of maintenance experience.
- Fully proficient in level 1, 2, and 3 maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with all relevant codes and regulations (Health & Safety, Electrical).
- Ability to interpret schematic drawings of mechanical, structural, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledgeable in TS 16949 and associated procedures.
- Experience with various controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens).
- Competence in using CAD software such as AutoCAD.
