Accounting Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team at Tim Hortons. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records, and to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
