Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability.
Requirements
  • Experience an asset.
  • Permanent position.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
