Position Details
We are seeking a qualified Senior Physics/Mathematics educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Senior Physics and Senior Math courses to students in our online e-learning environment.
Qualifications
As per the Education Act and Regulations, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Physics and Mathematics, with a focus on teaching and learning. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Appointment Process
This long-term occasional teacher assignment will be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Secondary Collective Agreement. Priority will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Secondary Teacher bargaining unit, in order of seniority. In the event the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.
