Job Summary

Chameleon Wrapping and Lamination Ltd. is seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team in a manufacturing environment. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting machine operators, transporting materials, and performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Machine Operators: Provide support to machine operators and assemblers in the manufacturing process, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Transport Materials: Transport materials and tools to and from work areas, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Prepare Raw Materials: Prepare raw materials for the mixing process, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor Machines: Monitor machines to detect any issues, such as jammed materials or defective products, and report them to the relevant personnel.
  • Clean and Lubricate Machinery: Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Assist in Setup and Dismantling: Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment, following established procedures and guidelines.
Work Environment

As a General Labourer at Chameleon Wrapping and Lamination Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
