Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a Retail Butcher. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for preparing and selling high-quality meats to our customers.
Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Price and label meat products
- Clean and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Our meat department is a cold and refrigerated environment. You will be working in a team-oriented setting with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
