Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Stress Engineer to join our aeronautical division.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Assisting with stress-related in-service repair operations.
- Conducting a variety of stress analyses on repairs, including static strength, fatigue/durability, damage tolerance, and Finite Element Model (FEM) assessments on multi-platform aircraft programs.
- Generating stress reports and performing static strength and damage tolerance evaluations for compliance verification.
- Executing stress calculations to assess design alternatives and repair evaluations.
- Reviewing engineering drawings related to repairs and actively contributing to the development of in-service solutions.
- Providing management with clear updates regarding the status and potential issues related to supported repair activities.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, along with 8 years of pertinent experience in the aerospace sector.
Experience in aircraft structural justification analysis, including statics and fatigue/durability, is essential, as well as a solid understanding of structural damage tolerance analysis.
Proficiency in Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, and CATIA V5 software is mandatory.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, capable, and enthusiastic professional with exceptional communication and listening abilities, adept at teamwork.
Additionally, you should be proactive, possess a strong sense of accountability, and demonstrate sound engineering judgment.
