We are in search of qualified candidates for the role of Parts Technician. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, eager to collaborate within a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome customers through in-person visits or phone calls
- Provide prompt responses to customer inquiries
- Process purchase orders, deliver estimates, and manage Parts ETA communications
- Conduct point of sale cash transactions
- Accurately charge Parts to RO with complete information
- Update RO with precise Parts ETA
- Notify Service upon Parts arrival
- Maintain comprehensive records of orders, including the quantity, type, and location of parts and supplies using manual or computerized inventory systems
- Identify alternative sources for out-of-stock items
- Oversee inventory management
- Participate in annual or cyclical inventory counts
- Engage in all 5S initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with MS Office suite, ADP/CDK, or other shop software is advantageous
- Experience in the truck industry is preferred
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Parts is essential for this position
