Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging examinations in MRI, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and radiologists to ensure seamless care.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and inventory management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • BCLS certification an asset.
  • Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) recommended.
  • Experience in MRI an asset.
  • Post-graduate courses in MRI an asset.
  • IV and contrast injection experience an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset.
