Job Summary

Davidson Contract Services is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including adjustments, replacements, and inspections of parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with truck systems, including engine, electrical, and suspension components.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
Work Environment

As a Truck Mechanic with Davidson Contract Services, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and use tools to perform your duties.
