Swim Instructor Opportunity at Goldfish Swim School - Ontario

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Ontario. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver swimming lessons based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
  • Evaluate students' performance to ensure ongoing improvement
  • Interact with parents/guardians on the development of students' swim skills
  • Use problem-solving/creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter
  • Inspect pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues
  • Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment
  • Report accidents and incidents to management
Requirements:
  • Must be 16 years old on application
  • Current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross or NL certification
  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED certification
  • Previous experience delivering high-quality swimming lessons preferred

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity in the pool area. The noise level is usually moderate.
