Senior Quotation Specialist

Transform the Future with Siemens Canada Limited
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Senior Quotation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in preparing professional quotations for industrial projects and managing the end-to-end proposal process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and accurate proposals based on plans and specifications.
- Proactively identify and quote alternates to enhance Siemens' position.
- Provide exceptional customer communication and support, including price and product feedback on commercial and technical issues.
- Closely collaborate with diverse teams to create solutions that drive new revenue streams.
- Coordinate with third-party providers and negotiate contractual requirements.
- Support the internal bid approval process, including legal reviews and risk analysis.
- Evaluate incoming bids for Go/No Go decisions based on technical requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and attend project review meetings with sales and customers.
- Apply engineering theory to offer innovative solutions to customers.
- Work closely with consulting companies to clarify projects and validate Siemens' proposed technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Technical experience in Power Distribution products and solutions.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial field.
- Experience with proposals for complex solutions in a regulated environment.
- Ability to read specifications and engineering single-line schematics and drawings.
- Experience in handling large industrial projects, such as hospitals and data centers.
- Ability to prepare technical proposals with engineering solutions to support sales.
- Highly self-motivated, focused, flexible, and adaptable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a passion for excellence and continuous learning.
- Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken (highly desirable).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship.
