We are seeking a skilled Service Designer to join our team at Intellex Systems. As a Service Designer, you will play a crucial role in integrating human-centered design methods into our program review and digital transformation projects.
Responsibilities- Analysis and documentation of project outcomes to identify efficiency in use for staff and easy access to services for citizens.
- Analysis of user and employee experience across channels and identification of gaps, opportunities, and solutions.
- Integration of service design research and outputs into our projects.
- Minimum of two years' experience with service design research and outputs.
- Experience working as a Service Designer on a project comparable in size and complexity to our service innovation, program review, and/or digital transformation projects.
- Experience working as a Service Designer in a cross-functional team to deliver a digital service, including service prototyping.
- One year of experience planning, observing, analyzing, and reporting on usability testing of production or prototype systems.
- Experience working with change management, policy changes, staffing changes, or other organizational change as part of service transformation and implementation.
- Experience planning, conducting and analyzing findings from, creating representations of, and reporting on qualitative field research.
- Experience planning, conducting and analyzing findings from, creating representations of, and reporting on co-design workshops with service users.
We offer a remote work environment with occasional meetings or work sessions in Edmonton. Successful candidates are responsible for providing a computer and software capable of accessing our client computer systems for both remote and onsite work. Some travel within Alberta may be required to conduct field research and user interviews.
