Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver meals to guest accommodations, ensuring that all special requests are fulfilled; confirm completed kitchen orders with the order taker or the guest's original request, and transport items swiftly to maintain food quality.
  • Welcome guests, providing detailed descriptions of menu selections, including their origins, flavors, and preparation techniques; discuss options for tray and dishware collection, and respond to inquiries within established timeframes.
  • Set up, clean, and break down room service tables, condiment arrangements, flatware, dishware, and service stations.
  • Anticipate guest requirements, evaluate satisfaction, offer recommendations, and address concerns and requests promptly.
  • Accurately finalize guest checks, ensuring room numbers and signatures are secured; manage voided checks or complimentary meals appropriately.
  • Comply with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Promote a positive and professional work atmosphere, collaborating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Preferred background in Hospitality Education.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage, ideally within a luxury hotel or dining establishment.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge in all facets of food and beverage service.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities, along with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Possession of the Serving it Right Certificate.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.

As our establishment operates 24/7, 365 days a year, we require our service staff to be adaptable in working mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
