We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Hubert Skinner. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area and surrounding areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and management to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
