London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is a world-class academic health sciences centre located in the southwestern Ontario city of London. We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer Cardiac Sonography Technologist to join our team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing adult transthoracic echocardiograms and assisting cardiologists in performing semi-invasive diagnostic procedures. The department offers a wide range of diagnostic cardiology procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Responsibilities:- Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms
- Assist cardiologists in performing semi-invasive diagnostic procedures
- Operate digital echocardiography systems
- Provide high-quality patient care and maintain accurate records
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
- Minimum one year recent related work experience with adult echo
- Experience in all aspects of adult echocardiography
- Knowledge of complex cardiac pathology
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Cardiac Information Databases
