About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our team at Ram Plastics Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal molds and core boxes using precision measuring instruments and computer-controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices in the art of mold making and precision machining.
  • Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Program and operate CNC machine tools to produce complex metal molds and core boxes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates.
  • Position, secure, measure, and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality molds and core boxes.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in mold making or precision machining.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 30 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
