RDTS is actively seeking a Retail Merchandising Specialist to operate within the Saint John, NB area. In this capacity, you will be responsible for showcasing and representing a variety of products from different suppliers in major retail locations within your designated area.
Work Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 5-8 hours weekly, with flexible hours available from Monday to Friday.
Service Area: Saint John - Sussex - St-George. A mileage reimbursement policy is in place.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Display products effectively, ensuring proper facing, cleanliness of sections, and product rotation.
- Spot marketing opportunities using strategies such as cross-merchandising and mass merchandising.
- Set up and maintain product displays.
- Interpret and implement planograms when required, especially during resets.
- Complete daily reports, including photographic documentation of completed tasks, via our mobile reporting application.
- Foster strong relationships with store management.
- Carry out any special requests from clients, including audits and display setups.
- Prior experience in merchandising and familiarity with planograms is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-sufficiency, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry loads up to 15 kgs.
- Must be capable of covering the assigned territory, with mileage reimbursement applicable.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as necessary.
