About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at M Painters Ltd. as a key member of our interior finishing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless finish.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure safe and efficient access to work areas.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting the highest standards of quality and finish.
Work Environment

As a Painter with M Painters Ltd., you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to travel to different sites, and may be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Client focus, flexibility, reliability, and team player skills.
Working Conditions

The work environment is physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
