Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete payables cycle for multiple group companies, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Match receipt vouchers with payable invoices for various companies, maintaining accurate records and resolving discrepancies.
- Record payable invoices in our Genius software, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Classify and pay invoices to suppliers, maintaining a strong relationship with our vendors.
- Reconcile credit card statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate recording of inter-company transactions, maintaining a clear audit trail.
- Manage multiple email boxes, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with buyers to obtain necessary documents, ensuring seamless processing of invoices.
- Provide support to members of the accounting team, contributing to the success of our financial operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting or finance an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial software an asset.
