About the Role

Straight Up Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Intake Lead to join our multidisciplinary team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a pivotal role in building rapport, trust, and ensuring that all those who are seeking support are matched with the right practitioner from our specialized team.

This is a full-time, salaried position that requires a Master's level training in social work, psychotherapy, psychology, counseling or related area, and a license to practice psychotherapy in Ontario with the CRPO, CPO, or as a RSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct strength-based biopsychosocial assessments for children, teens, adults and parents and provide them with recommended pathways for care.
  • Lead our unique '360 Discovery Assessment Process' and work alongside our Founder to grow the clinic and develop new strategies to enhance the experience for clients and increase the overall reach our team has within the community.
  • Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling.
  • Collaborate with our Clinical Director, Jake Ernst, and the rest of the team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's level training in social work, psychotherapy, psychology, counseling or related area.
  • License to practice psychotherapy in Ontario with the CRPO, CPO, or as a RSW.
  • Experience providing therapy and working directly with youth, adolescents, and their families.
  • Experience in business development, or the drive to learn more about business development in order to support growth initiatives like seeking new referral sources and strategic partnerships.
  • A strong foundation in ethics, codes of conduct, and standards of practice.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments is an asset.
  • Experience utilizing Jane EMR software is an asset.
