Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of hydraulic truck-mounted machinery.
  • Maintain and repair various equipment, including cranes and bucket trucks.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman and service management to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Document detailed reports of repairs for future reference.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship in a safe and professional manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Apprentice level 4 technicians may be considered).
  • Valid BC Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 is an asset).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on diagnostics and repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and utilize tools throughout the workday.
  • Proficient in using computerized diagnostic equipment and mechanical software.
