About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join its team at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. As a key member of the Department of Surgery, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized surgical care to patients in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of specialized surgical care, including ER on-call coverage 24/7
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 Urologists to serve the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and surrounding communities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of urology services and programs
Requirements
  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
  • Satisfaction of credentialing requirements of the Nova Scotia Health Authority
