Medical Oncologist Position at Tom Baker Cancer Centre

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary, Alberta. As a member of our multidisciplinary cancer program, you will work alongside a team of 29 Medical Oncologists to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical oncology services to patients at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and Foothills Hospital site
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies to advance cancer care
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents
Requirements:
- MD degree and Canadian specialist certification in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensure as a specialist by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
- Appointment to the medical staff of Alberta Health Services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Special training in areas such as epidemiology, clinical trials, or health services research
- Record of academic success in cancer research
