Your Impact- Position yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, collaborating closely with your Account Manager and local partners within your region.
- Inform customers about industry trends and the evolving security landscape that they must stay informed about.
- Demonstrate security best practices and desired outcomes by developing technical proof of concepts, illustrating the value proposition of Prisma Cloud.
- Serve as the technical representative for all security and compliance matters related to Public Cloud platforms (Alicloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform).
- Build relationships with technical teams in channel partners essential for successful deployments and cloud security.
- Act as a bridge for customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor analysis, and R&D to shape requirements and enhance product features for our clients.
- Travel is expected approximately twice a month, including occasional attendance at internal events and industry conferences focused on cloud security and DevSecOps.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, including military background, is required.
- Over 3 years of technical sales experience or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager) and CI/CD tools (including IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Experience in configuring and managing security features and services on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (including identity and access management, networking, firewalls, encryption).
- A background in security, particularly cloud security, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
The Solutions Architect is aligned with one or more Sales Specialists. As part of the Prisma Cloud specialist team, we are integrated into the Core Palo Alto Networks account team, responsible for the comprehensive relationship with our clients.
The Prisma Cloud specialist team will strategize, collaborate, and coordinate with the Core team for customer engagements and opportunity management. For all Prisma Cloud opportunities, the specialist team will oversee the process from start to finish while keeping the Core team informed throughout.
