We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take responsibility for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Teamwork: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and to stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- English Language: Work language is English.
