Pediatric Interventional Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pediatric interventional radiologist to join our team at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment, providing expert care to patients and contributing to research and education in the field of pediatric interventional radiology.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a wide range of interventional procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions, in pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other disciplines to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Contribute to research and education in pediatric interventional radiology, including developing and implementing new procedures and techniques.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in the department.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certification in diagnostic radiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Board of Radiology, or international equivalent.
- Fellowship and clinical experience in body pediatric interventional radiology and vascular anomalies.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and academic appointment at the University of Toronto at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
- Strong research background in pediatric interventional radiology, with training in research methodology at the level of a Master's degree/Ph.D. preferred.
- Faculty appointment at the University of Toronto (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary range of approximately $350,000 to $500,000 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and faculty appointment.
- Additional incentive for extended and on-call hours of work related to complex interventional procedures.
- Benefits include medical, dental, life group insurance, disability insurance, pension contributions, and relocation package (if eligible).
