- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers on projects related to completion mechanical systems.
- Chair the Engineering Control Change Board (ECCB) for RFC/RFQ/P&OIAS and PCR technical approval.
- Define technical requirements and lead supplier technical strategies for new systems.
- Lead interactions with internal parties (Operations, Projects, Programs, Procurement, Technical, etc.)
- Negotiate interfaces with other systems/structures and formalize the agreement on Interface Control Drawings (ICD).
- Lead technical meetings with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
- Chair design reviews and master regulatory and industry requirements.
- Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.
- Act as a technical reference and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within your larger team.
Requirements:
- You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with more than fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
- You have detailed technical Challengers and Globals business aircraft interiors experience.
- You have solid experience working with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
- You are an expert in product structure and aircraft certification.
- You are well organized and are project oriented.
- You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
