Job Title: Journeyperson Welder

Greenstone Gold Mines LP is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Welder to join our team at the Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing repairs, overhauls, and new builds to mining-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assemblies, preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls on heavy mining equipment according to schedule.
  • Make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement.
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
  • Complete job-specific reports and paperwork as required.
  • Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety, and follow all rules and legislation.
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Welding Certificate
  • Experience with Komatsu, CAT, Epiroc equipment is considered an asset
  • Experience in repair/maintenance of heavy equipment
  • Remote location working environment
  • Prior experience in an industrial setting – mine site experience is an asset
  • Valid driver's license
