Position Overview

The role of a Metal Fabrication Machine Specialist involves operating various machinery to shape and form metal materials into specified products. This position is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality metal components.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in metalworking is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Examine products to ensure they meet required shapes, dimensions, and specifications.
  • Maintain machinery by cleaning and lubricating equipment regularly.
  • Utilize various techniques to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise manipulate metal stock into finished parts or products.
  • Document all completed work accurately.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, performing minor repairs as necessary.
  • Set up and operate multiple light or heavy metalworking machines.
  • Operate presses or forging machines for hot or cold forging processes.
  • Interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions effectively.
  • Manually or mechanically transport materials to the designated work area.
