Position Overview

As a Heavy Equipment Excavator Operator at Alberta Paving Ltd, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery in a range of outdoor environments. This role is essential for the successful completion of construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute minor repairs on machinery as needed
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications for project execution
Qualifications
  • Certification: Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
  • Experience: Proficient in asphalt finishing, excavation, fine grading, and rough grading
  • Industry Background: Experience in industrial, commercial, and residential construction
Safety and Transportation
  • Must be bondable
  • Willingness to travel regularly is required
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory
  • Public transportation is not available
Physical Demands
  • Position is physically demanding and requires attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with potential overtime
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required
