We're seeking a skilled General Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will work closely with other Machinists, Shop Manager, Engineering, Product Development, Fabrication, and Assembly personnel to produce high-quality products efficiently and with a strong focus on safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret engineers' drawings and select the necessary tooling and measuring tools.
- Organize tasks for efficiency and create jigs and fixtures as required.
- Operate milling machines and lathes, conduct preventative maintenance, and maintain tooling.
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager and Engineering departments to improve TMG products.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner, adhering to Company values and policies.
- Completion of High School or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manual machinist environment.
- A get-it-done attitude, skilled at removing barriers, and a team player.
- Ability to think beyond customer needs, identify errors, and potential issues.
- Quickly adjust to changing priorities and conditions, cope with complexity and change, and respond appropriately.
- Climate-controlled shop with state-of-the-art equipment.
