Nurse Practitioner

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse to join our team at Sechelt Hospital in Sechelt, BC. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
- Completion of a recognized nursing education program.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a medical-surgical unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
