About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Food Service Associate to join our team at MKR KITCHEN & BAR LTD. as a Restaurant Server. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Order Taking and Service: Take orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Payment and Settlement: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Wine and Beverage Service: Describe and advise on wine selection and serve beverages to customers.
  • Special Needs Assistance: Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as dietary restrictions or mobility issues.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
