Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kaipings Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are following company policies and procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and manage inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics, and provide recommendations for improving operations and increasing efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a team environment, and will be responsible for ensuring that our staff are working together effectively to meet our goals and objectives.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a physically demanding role, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, and to lift and move heavy objects. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, and to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders, and to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
